The Magnificent Liars are back with a play described as "rich, vivid, satisfying theatre!" 'Master Class,' by Terrence McNally, produced on Broadway in 1995, will be performed at the Eastport Arts Center.

The setting is a master class taught by world renowned soprano and opera star Maria Callas. It is 1971 at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City where students are trained for and aspire to professional careers as performing artists. Callas' internationally celebrated voice and career have both declined. Teaching master classes in front of a select discerning public at Juilliard, she hopes, will propel her back into the public eye.

A portion of the profits of the show will be donated to PAWS Brave Hearts animal shelter in Calais, through arrangements by Denise Brown of Eastport Pets. The Liars' policy is to share billing with worthy local nonprofit organizations to increase awareness of their roles in the community.

Tickets may be purchased via the events calendar at www.eastportartscenter.org (make sure to navigate to the performance you wish to attend before selecting) or at the EAC box office one half hour before each performance. Warning: Master Class contains adult language
