We are nearing the end of February and into March. Full Worried Moons. Spring is on its way, hopefully sooner than expected.

The Sunday breakfast group at the Wickachee celebrated Leon Fox and my birthday with a beautiful cake made by Pat Townsend. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee, lots of chit-chat and cards. Imagine life without friends.

Good news! Joni Miller is home at last from her hospital stay and is recuperating slowly with her son Todd from Alaska helping her. She has lots of friends on the side to help if needed.

I received over 22 birthday cards, phone calls and flowers. For a while I thought I must have been on my way out. Ha!

March 2nd - The Riverside Rebekah Lodge #140 will have a  food sale at Baileyville Food Mart from 9:00 am - noon.

March 10th - Story Tellers Group at the Calais Free Library from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Share your stories and memories. Coffee and sweets will be served.

March 18th -  Annual Polar Bear Dip.

A reminder of WCCC Open House on Tuesday, March 6th 3 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Have a tour, speak with admissions counselors and financial aid representatives.

Hoping to hear some feedback on International Festival meeting as I was sick and couldn’t go.
